Ok popcorn remake!!

Well with the first recipe it didn't go so well!  So we are doing a remake for your yummy pleasure!

This recipe from Kraft Food was the ticket to popped success!

Following this recipe was easy and quick...the way we all like our recipes!

Thank you kraftfoods and Jell-O for this fantastic Jell-O Rainbow Popcorn recipe!  So for our Memorial Day picnic we made Red, White, and Blue Popcorn bags!  This has to be the most delicious coated popcorn we have tried to date!

Thank you Orville Redenbacher and @Presto for your awesome popper!  This popper is amazing and such a bargain for the quality of the product!  We couldn't have done this without our awesome Original Orville Redenbachers popcorn and our popper!

We adapted the recipe a bit...you need 8 cups of popcorn for each color, double the batch if you are feeding a large crowd.

We used Jell-O brand Blue Raspberry flavor for the blue and Cherry flavor for the red.  The white popcorn is just left plain.

We did not add the nuts, you certainly could add the nuts, we just preferred the yummy popcorn goodness and Jell-O flavors!  Our little Isabella is allergic to peanuts and tree nuts so this is basically now a nut free house.  Well, not exactly nut free!  We are definitely nutty sometimes!

Other than these few changes, we followed the recipe to a T!  It was a team effort, Mama read the recipe and I did the handiwork!

Ok so it may sound strange to put this mixture in the oven, but it is what makes the popcorn coating harden on the popcorn.  It works great!

Now can you imagine this in a variety of colors for birthday parties?  Weddings? Baby and bridal showers?  Since Jell-O comes in so many flavors you are sure to please even the toughest crowd!

NOTE!!!!! DO NOT PUT YOUR FINGER ON THE HOT CANDIED SPATULA! NO MATTER HOW BAD YOU WANT TO TASTE THE COATING!  Oh, man did that hurt!  OUCH!!
